how much money would you as a bride pay for personalized 'will you be my' cards?

i'm not even going to throw out a number... tell me what you honestly think.

can anyone tell i want to be an event planner? i think i am in the wrong line of work!







edited to say that it is heavy cardstock cards, appliques for all the flowers, etc., laser printed on vellum inside.

Ok, more about my delinquent bride stuff... It's hard to get FH out to go to vendors and stuff and so i know i just need to take a day off and do it all. i brought him to the FT/SandCastle showcase and he said it was the biggest waste of time in his life. love him!

but last night he even said to me... we really need to book at least one vendor. he decided it should be the photog.

i'm betting its gonna take me like two months to do it. why am i lazy?

You aren't lazy, you just want to make the right choices! That's what I'm telling myself. My FH said to me one night when I brought out some vendor stuff: 'Next time you want to do this wedding stuff, let me know so I'm prepared!'...Lets just say I didn't ask him about any 'wedding stuff' for two months! He finally asked me when we were gonna look at a photographer! How do you like them apples!

you are not lazy..All the decisions we have make on our wedding are IMPORTANT & you want do to a little research...In my case, I did all my research prior to getting engaged just bc I had a SIL & FSIL that were planning their weddings prior...I stole a lot of my FSIL vendors, so that made it easier! Take your time & don't make any harsh decision's fast!!!

Kiddo-sometimes it is easier to do things without them Jay has one responsibility now, THE BAND!!

You know what, I am in the same boat. I've done plenty of research, but one thing after another has come up and I haven't met with any vendors yet. I've only booked my hall. We still have plenty of time. I think it's important to do all our research first to know exactly what we want and who we want to meet with, etc.

Beleive me your not lazy. I just think with all the options that are availbale to a Future Bride its impossible to want to run out and book the first vendor you see or hear about. I personally told FH that he needs to be on top of me to keep the vendor list to a min for each vendor. I'm so indecisicve. If it was up to me we'd still be looking at halls

FH does a great job in helping us (or should I say me) make up our minds on a vendor.
If he didn't TRUST me I would not want to go and make appts to see anyone either. Too much confusion and decision making.

Well you booked the FT right??? Don't worry about it.

I loved all of your ideas for the engagment party..you really should go into business!

That's so funny...my mom keeps telling me that I have plenty of time and to slow down and not worry so much.
