So my mom went completely ballistic...

when I mentioned that we may have the reply cards come to us since we are organizing the guest list on our computer. We have a whole program that FH wrote to calculate our numbers and everything. We were in the car on the way to the airport to drop me off. She started screaming like a crazy person and banging on the car window (my dad was driving). My mom is unstable, but that was the last straw. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome most of the time I visited, and I bawled for 3 hours at the airport and then on the plane ride home. She couldn't even discuss it with me...she had to just scream and scream. She didn't even say goodbye to me at the airport. And of course, since my mother has health problems, it's all my fault and she has license to treat me like crap. I hate it. I just had to vent

Luckily this is the absoulte last holiday I am separated from FH. He is so good about being on my side and keeping me calm when my mother acts up.

Sorry to hear about your mom starting with you. Did she say sorry yet? My FH doesn't like to take sides, but for the most part he wants to keep me calm during our wedding planning. He said I better not turn into a bridezilla lol. Don't stress, keep your head up.

Thanks. I should be used to the treatment by now, but it's not fair that my vacation time got spent being treated like crap. I don't even feel welcome in my parent's house anymore.
