So my wedding is in 5 weeks...what should I be doing???
I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. Shouldn't I be doing SOMETHING for my wedding? The response cards are due back next Friday, so I can't do seating, my favors won't be in until after June first, so I can't wrap those, and I haven't picked my menu yet, so I can't make those. So what am I supposed to do? You know what they say about idle hands and all!

How about programs, or rose petal cones (if you are using rose petals).

Around the 4-6 week mark I was so bored - it is definitely an in-between part. Things I wish I had done then that I am scrambling to do now:
- program/flower toss cones/favor labels
- song lists
- writing out thank you cards to BP and parents
- OOT bags
If you have this kind of stuff done already, I woiuld say you are in great shape!
What I ended up doing at the 6 week mark was things like :
- Make giant contact lists for everyone in weding, parents, and vendors, so there is no scrambling for numbers in case of emergency
- Making all pre-wedding pampering appointments (facial the week before, mani and pedi the day before, etc.) I know schedules get filled quickly in the summer months for pre-wedding stuff.

You could start your seating chart. MY RSVP date is June 7th but I did all of those I knew were coming, the ones that I assumed are coming, and just left off those that I know are probably no. I was surprised how easy it was- now as I get replies I just take off any no's and bold those that are yes.

Ok, wonderful ladies, all great ideas! I need SOMETHING to do, I hate sitting around when I KNOW there is stuff to be done.

5 weeks? That's it?? Wow - time is really flying by!!
Have you done your must play list for the dj/band? What about your must take photo list for the photographer?

RAchel!! Our day is coming! I'm painting my aisle runner. I still have to ask the people that I want to do the ceremony readings. I'm thinking about asking our moms to do the readings...
