Ok, you might not want to hear it....

But I was EXACTLY where you were. Wow. I feel like I was reading an earlier post of mine. Every place I went to I was 90% happy. I was so tired of looking at places I was just going to book one of them. I thought I was just being really nitpicky and that I would be fine with the little details that I was harping on..

But I wasn't going to be happy. So I kept looking. If in your gut you don't feel comfortable about those little things, don't book it.

I would rule out the Cliff Inn. $400 ($200/night) is a lot to ask guests to fork over. I'd also consider ruling out Apple Valley. The ONE thing I DIDN'T like about Belvedere was that it was on a main road. Granted it was on top of a hill, but I didn't like the fact that a lot of traffic would be passing through during our ceremony. If you don't mind having 3 weddings happening at the same time, Stroudsmoor sounds great! I personally have never worred about that part (having more than one wedding going on - hey! You can high five the other brides in the bathroom!)...but I understand why some people are sensitive about it.

Is that place off NJ Turnpike still a possibility?

Yes! I'm hoping that the NJ Turnpike place will be my 100% right place.

Thanks for the advice - I just got a really good vibe from the Apple Valley Inn, even though my head is telling me that I don't want to hear trucks honking their horns as we say 'I do'! But you're right, we still have lots of time to find a place we don't have reservations about and can be totally happy with. Seeing all of these 'almost-right' places today has convinced me of that.

ok i know this is like hours late but
A. this is why i dont post after getting home from FH's house at night - i know i will be on until like 2am and have to call in sick to work in the morning LOL

and

B. the LIW shirt - dont know what size i picked BUT it is basically down to my knees . . . let me tell you i look H O T in it - i think FH could fit into it! ( with me already in it!) I think its a medium too its just HUGE - when i get home i am SO posting a picture in the shirt. . .i am such a brat i am thinking of making my mom take it apart and resize it ( she is a seamstress) LOL i feel like i am in the 8th grade when i put it on though, like i should put on a pair of my brother's jeans and a huge black belt with it
