I have been on here for awhile, and we had already had most of our vendors booked including the RH, but I did not have a ring yet. FH technically asked me to marry him last July 14th on my 30th birthday, but we did not have a ring yet, because he wanted me to be part of the designing and picking out of the ring, and we have vowed to not get into debt, so he had to save to be able to pay cash for the ring, as well as all of the wedding deposits so far. I knew I would be getting my ring soon, but not last night. FH & I went for a walk as we have been after dinner lately, but last night he took me on a different route and down to a park near where we live, and he told me to sit down and we would take a rest before going back home, and we were talking for a few minutes, and then he got up to stretch and got down on his knee and officially asked me to be his wife and gave me my ring, which is sooooooo beautiful, more beautiful then I ever expected. All of the wedding planning and me calling him my FH now feels real. AHHHHH!!

Congrats! We did some things like you did too... we booked the RH the day before he asked... we loved the Bourne and didn't want to lose it.

YAY!! Congrats!!

FH and I did the same thing, he knew I always wanted to help design it, so he proposed with one ring, but we planned to design the real one togeher. He prosposed in Aug 06, and we just recently finished designing it lolz..so now we boked a hall and a photographer, and I don't even have my ring yet - soon though!! Lolz..whats wrong with doing things backwards?!?
