So, OK, we're a little nutty.

I'm talking to my dad about Villa Lombardi's, and telling him what Anthony said about the place (which is that it's nice, but it's a little 'tacky Italian'-- which is AOK by me, because I AM a little tacky Italian. ;). Anyway, I said, 'You know, Anthony just doesn't want to feel like we're getting married by the mob.' My dad gets all psyched and says, 'That's it!' And suggests that we hire one of those dinner theatre groups (the Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding types) that do murder mysteries to come do a show at our wedding! They would do their show for one hour, and then we'd have a band for the rest of the reception. Am I crazy, or would that be so much fun?

I think it is a good idea but I wouldn't do it for a wedding, JMO. Maybe for rehearsal dinner or my engagement party. In the end it's all up to you

My family would LOVE it... we're all a bunch of wacky Italians. Most of Anthony's family would love it, too, but there are a few people he's concerned wouldn't 'get it.' (A few family members are from Poland and don't speak English that well.) It's just an idea at this point, but I've been all giggly and excited ever since my dad thought of it. Have you gals ever been to those kinds of shows?

FH and I go to those frequently and always have a good time. . I took my mother and grandmother once and they hated it.

Those things are AWESOME!!!!!! That would be so much fun to attend a wedding that had that! But the thing to also think of is your audience (guests), but if you want it and it fits your personality- DO IT!!!! That really is an awesome idea, and original. I've never heard of doing that at a wedding. It would be so much fun!

I think its a cute idea but I wouldn't do it for a wedding...it sounds like its better for a rehearsal dinner.

I think it sounds like a fun idea, but not for a wedding. I just dont think there should be anything that takes the focus off the bride and groom. But if you, your FH and your families would enjoy it, go for it.
