So opening our wedding gifts...

WE got SO surprised by SO many people...
Like MANY people gave even more than what i thought! I was like WoW

I was like THANK U SO MUCH!!!!...
It was a very generous gift from MANY guest...




THEN... the people i was like 'i know X will give us good $ ....' We open the cards and i got surprise...
I got $70 for 3 people!!!!!!!!! ....
and ONE guest gave us a Prepaid Visa WALMART card WITHOUT Money....


1 guest kept insisting she dropped the envelop in the table that had Many Red hearts & Red Roses...
I DID NOT had a RED roses table nor red hearts...
But the next day she switch her story n said she dropped it at our table next to the red hearts.. lol WE DID NOT HAD RED HEARTS in our table! lol





Just wanted to share that...

I had 2 people forget their envelopes, asked me for my address to mail and im still waiting!!!

and 1 person never said anything, but last week handed FH and envelope and said sorry, but better late than never..

Did you wait until now to open them?? I wouldn't be able to wait! It sounds so greedy, but FH and I plan to open the cards in the hotel suite the night of

presents! presents! lol

Well We were leaving for our HM the next day... Reception ended on Sunday 9/25 at 11:00...
and We left monday at 8:00am!!! So we didnt had time to and we wanted to wait...

We waited One week lol

about the walmart card with no money.

About the rest....let me tell you I had a family of 5 with no gift

You'd be surprised on who gives you more and who gives you less or nothing. I'm glad you got a lot of nice gifts!

Some people will surprise you with their generousity and some people will leave you shaking your head with how cheap they are. I am still waiting for some gifts, even from people who said 'the check is in the mail'

The best was a set of measuring scoops (All Clad, but still), from 2 people. it's like, do you know I paid over $300 for your meal alone?!?!? ahhh

Its the same thing i said 'Nah i dont need a list B.. My guest are good...' I had 30 NO & like 4no shows!!!!

We still didn't get gifts from all of our guests. I think we are still missing 5? But we got such generous gifts from people that couldn't even attend.

And then we got nothing from DH's cousin and his wife. They got married in London and we couldn't attend. I sent her a Shower gift and sent them a wedding gift. Never got thank you notes from either. And did not receive anything from them. Not even a card.

i do have to say one time i thought FH had the card, and he thought i had it, so we didnt give a gift

I ididnt realize until a month later when i was like 'where is the cashed check payment' that he said oh i thought you didnt, and i said no i thought YOU did!

so needless to say we send a check for a little extra with super apologozies!

this is what DH and I did. We were leaving for our HM the following morning, so we had to have our deposit slips filled out before we left so we could give to my mom to deposit for us LOL.

umm i got 1 better...my cousin who came into money and just bought a 5 bedroom mini mansion in li gave us 175 for 4 friggin pp so i know what ur saying and to boot we even got her daughter a special plate cause she cant eat wheat or dairy i told dh shes done im not inviting her anywhere and i dont care cause im done with her and cheap ***!

We got a taste of this at our engagement party!! I had one person gives up $40 for two people and another gave us a bottle of vodka from a family of 3!!

I can't imagine what people are gonna give at the wedding!!

At our engagement party, FH's uncle gave us $50 for 4 people! And I just found out he's been making $3,000 to $4,000 EXTRA per month just blogging! I was soooo pissed. Even my MIL was like what the heck???
