Okay I am so sorry that my last like ten posts have been vents. But when you are like four months from your weddings, you will totally understand.

My sister went for her fitting today. This girl at the shop was like 'OMG you should have said no so you dont have to wear this dress' AND 'WHY WOULD ANYONE PICK ROYAL BLUE AND PINK!!' when my sister mentioned that the bride was her sister the girl kind of stopped.

My sister told me because she thought it was hysterical, but now I am second guessing my choices. Maybe people are BSing me bc they think like I am the bride and they are just trying to be nice?

It just really annoyed me! I can't believe the girl said that! My sister is really quiet and shy that is why she didn't say anything.

Here is the dress. It will be in Euro Royal Blue with a baby pink sash. I like them bc they are simple - I really didn't think they were ugly? But then again I have never seen any other girls use the dress OR the colors??

just be honest with me, you can FM me if you want to - is this dress terrible? do the colors not match?

tilde, i'm not just saying it to make you feel better, i really like that dress. from one of the other girls' posts it sounds like this dress will look great on everyone...and i think the royal blue w the pink sash is beautiful, and royal blue is the best blue to use for blue and pink. i'm sure the dress is beautiful and if your sister didn't think so, she would NOT have told you this story. so seriously, don't even think twice about it.

I happen to love that dress -- it is in my folder of dresses to have my BMs try on. Forget what other people say -- people need to learn to keep their mouths shut (I am sure that girl felt pretty stupid and wanted to put her foot in her mouth after she said that. They are sales people they are never supposed to say something is ugly in their store!

Keep this in mind too -- I once had to wear a BM dress that was pepto pink and I hated it but I never said a word about it -- well the day of the wedding when we were all dressed they looked great and the pictures came out amazing!!!!!!!! So sometimes things don't look right until everything is all together!

Honestly.....i LOVEEEE the dress!!! I have never seen it before and I really think it is beautiful! The colors probably go great together as well. Don't allow anyone to let you second guess yourself!!!!

first, its not ugly.... second you picked it for a reason, so screw others thoughts, third, my colors are red and royal blue... dresses are black, but ive gotten the 'thts weird' comment too.... i say to those people, 'go screw'

thats so true! i had to wear Mango dresses for my cousins wedding ( in albums ) and we thought we looked like pumpkins - but THAT day it looks GREAT and we loved it!

some people only like certain colors - and thats their personal opinion, some people might hate blue or hate pink - so no matter how beautiful the dress is, its just not their style....but obviously the girl in the store has no class and doesnt know how to keep her opinion to herself - i am actually shocked that she said that.....but what do you care what the skank in the store thought anyway? - seriosuly tilde, please dont worry about it - i think its going to look HOT - so dont stress over it......its 4 months until your wedding (which i am so freaking excited about - your one of the first people i talked to on LIW so i cant wait for your wedding!!) so enjoy it and try not to get to upset over anything (i am sure thats easier said than done!) but you LOVED the dress and you LOVED the colors - so dont let what she said make you second guess yourself!! i think you made an awesome choice!

Personally I think the dress is super elegant..

I always question my choices.. I am having Taupe/camel.. but I keep going back to wanting black dresses... they are ordered.. so I'm sticking with my choice.. but I think there are just SOOO many decisions to make that when someone starts to question them.. you question yourself...

That dress is gorgeous! It's so not your typical BL dress that everyone gets. You all know what I'm talking about!
