My hall does not offer a tasting They had a Bridal Showcase with 300 people who were not even getting married there, and they only served Cocktail Hour food, There is Soooo much to pick for our reception dinner menu, we have no clue. Lombardis said that its not there policy to have a tasting hey said we should go to there resteraunt and pic out what we like, nor a voucher to have dinner. Is this normal??? Because if its not this will be my first Bridezilla moment, we are paying soooooooooo much for our wedding there. They are pissing me off already

I am getting married at Westbury Manor. After I booked they gave FH and I a complementary dinner at their restaurant in order to taste their food.... (it was great by the way)
I would call your banquet manager and tell him -its the principal of the matter--- Its not that you are looking for a free meal-- they should be 100% willing to treat you to a dinner since you are giving them soooo mcuh business. It's just the proper way to be treated.

I am just as pissed as you are!!! I know exactly how you feel. I also found out that Terrace on the Park does not do tastings either. Which shocked me!!! They did offer the bridal show that it coming up for next month but I know that will no do any justice!!

Especially when you're already paying this crap load of money.

Why don't you try going when they have an event? This way it's kinda like they're against the wall. I know it might not soung right but maybe this way it's justified.

Westbury manor gives a coupon for dinner though....i think it was $25 or something.

True ....FH and his friend tested their food for free and so did myself and a BM when we were 'thinking of booking them'

Dont worry....EVERYTHING there is good...they really are a terror to deal with though that lombardi family..

I got married the 1st time at VILLA
everyone, STILL talks about the food, and I am divorced for 3 years already....

I know it's not the same, but my parents just went to a wedding at LOS and they said the food was amazing and of course momma lombardi's food is great and it's all connected so I know you want a tasting and you def are intitled to it, but I wouldn't be concerned about how the food tastes. My hall only gave us a sample of a few cocktail items, one main dish and one dessert.

Fox Hollow doesn't do a tasting either. FH and I went to their restaurant as was suggested to us and though it was a little pricey we ordered the things that we were contemplating on putting in the menu and everything was delicious!

It stinks that they don't offer a tasting but I'm glad they at least have the restaurant.

wow, I didn't know that they didn't offer a tasting - I just assumed they did. What about the cake - any ideas info on that?

ahh i heard JT gives you a hard time for tastings too - i am so nervous bc i am so not good at 'bargaining' but i heard they only give it to you if you INSIST!

i wonder why these halls are cutting out things like this?? i think its common courtesy to let us try the food before the wedding!

Crescent Beach Club didn't have a tasting either, unless you're like certain people and can work their way into getting one!! I'm so jealous I don't know how you do it!
