He hasn't had a cigarette since Wednesday because he said he had trouble breathing. He didn't tell me he wanted to quit, but I starting thinking he did since Friday night--we went to see a movie, then to Fridays, and he didn't have one--even after drinking. Nothing every night before bed, and on Sunday I finally asked him if he stopped and he did!!
I'm sooo happy, because I hated kissing him after he had a cigarette---no more ash tray mouth!!!

YAY!!! That is awesome. Good for him. It is sooooo hard to stop. FH mom stopped and is going strong for 5-6 months now. Keep us updated on his progress.

Yea, he said it's hardest when he's driving to/from work, at his lunch break, and around 3:30 (those were his smoking times), but I'm proud of him and so happy

that's amazing. I quit smoking almost a year ago and i feel soo much better. you can really notice the differance after a few weeks.
i have something called a quit smoking meter posted on my livejournal. it tells me how many cigs i havent smoked how long i havent smoked for and how much money i've saved. that money is all going towards the wedding now

Wow! I'm going to tell FH about that, he's always concerned with money (that god he is because I'm definitely a spender). Maybe that will help him keep this up. Thanks
