it's how you handle these little setbacks that counts!!

i feel your pain- i gained 8lbs and freaked!!

just keep on truckin'- you will see the weight start coming off soon as long as you keep exercising and drink plenty of h2o!

muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are working out and building muscle, that is probably the reason for the increase...

Exactly!!!! Be excited about that. You lost fat and gain muscle.

Ok, I have to break this myth- muscle weighs the same as fat- a pound of muscle or a pound of fat is still a pound- no difference. BUT muscle is more compact than fat so you will see the results in inches lost, not pounds. SO a body with 130 pounds of muscle and 10 pounds of fat is many inches and clothing sizes smaller than say 130 pounds of fat and 10 pounds of muscle- make sense?

This is my only beef with WW is the weekly weigh-ins. You really should only weigh-in once a month since your weight will fluctuate week to week. The gain of a pound is meaningless and frustrating. I am sure if you continue working out and check your weight in 4 weeks you WILL see a loss. Please don't give up!!!!

I agree with everyone. I've been on weight watchers since Jan and this is hte second time I did it. The first time the weight just melted off and I was at my goal weight in 2 months, but I did not work out at all. This time I work out all the time & the weight came off very slow but my body has transformed. Trust me, i know its frustrating but you will be much happier with your results and healthier because you are working out. Just be patient!
& Congrats on losing the weight!

It's just muscle from working out. i know you hate hearing it, and dont feel it.. but think about something that was tight or you stopped wearing because you didn't like the way it looked, go and put it on.. You will see how it feels and that will boost your confidence right back up!!!
