So I took my mom to see Ariana Waterfall and she sad it was too small to have my reception there. I dont know what else to do since they offered such a great package. Anyone know anywhere else in Nassau that offers packages? Maybe in Brooklyn? Anyone know of any nice halls in BK? I really need your help!

Re: So Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how many people are you having?
i depends ont he budget, but theres tons of places in brooklyn to have it.. El Caribe (in mill basin), Glen Terrace (i think is a little cheaper- in Old mill Basin). Grand Prospect hall (down by the prospect park area- i think thats on the pricey end too)....
i know El Caribe and Grand Prospect Hall can both cater to high occupancy though.... not positive about Glen Terrace

I would love to have it at el caribe but they wabt 135 a head. I am not trying to go over 85. Dont like Glen terrace too much.
Im not really a fan of glen terrace either, but i jsut wanted to throw it out there b/c i think they'd be a little cheaper. Theres a bunch of places in Bensonhurst too, but im drawing a blank.
Gargiulio's in Coney Island is beautiful, but im not sure what their capacity is, and theyre probably on the pricey end too. Are you set on your date already? b/c you'd probably have more bargaining power if you did it in the off season or had a day wedding... all of those affect the price dastically
also, i know you're looking for 'package' deals, but theres also ways to be economic about vendors. Check out nsgraham's Budget Vendor page
you could save alot of money there too.

Re: So Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you considered having it in the afternoon... Watermill, Westbury Manor, Swan Club, Woodbury Country Club,
Lots of places are around that place if you have it in the afternoon... like a garden type wedding.
We got a good price at Stewart Manor Country Club - we didn't go with them in the end, but I think they did have a package deal with flowers, etc.

also- check the post by groovygroom... he keeps re-posting that he needs someone to take his date at Jericho terrace- and he's paying for the deposit. may be worth it to check that out (and Jericho terrace has a large room)

I think I read that Douglaston Manor in Queens has wedding packages. I've never been there, so I can't comment on the place or its food. Just a thought...

Re: So Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd recommend checking out Stuart Thomas Manor, they offered a package very similar to Ariana Waterfall, and the place is bigger. I think the pricing pretty comparable when we were looking a couple months ago.

I can say with 100% certainty that the Douglaston Manor has a package....AND it will fit within your $85 pp budget even for a Saturday night in peak season. Give them a call or check out the website, the package details are listed on the site.
