So sad and frustrated

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....

MY JOB SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I had a really bad experience at the end of the day yesterday, and was up all night as a result. Basically, although I have done everything my bosses have asked of me, they are trying to force me out of my job! After all of the abuse I've taken from them for over a year...it's just totally unfair!

I so want out of there, but I want it to be on MY terms, not theirs...

Re: So sad and frustrated

What do you do, is it a hard field, can you find another job relatively quickly? I was in your position at one time and I just quit. I appreciate my sanity and won't sacrifice it for anything.....that is always what I tell people in your situation.

Re: So sad and frustrated

BDB, I know you've been SO unhappy for so long at your job , and really NOONE needs the stress of being so miserable at work. I've been there, done that and I'm finally at a place where I can deal with work and tolerate it..

Your wedding is coming up soon and you certainly do NOT need this aggravation .. but I know its difficult to pick up and leave NOW .. and to look for another job NOW is difficult. But no job is worth the stress and sleepless nights you are going thru..

Get your resume together, go on Monster.com or Hotjobs, and get a feel for what is out there. TRY to hold on until after your wedding, if you can, but if its too stressful just LEAVE. You can always start looking once you are back from wedding and/or HM. Even if you have to temp for awhile, its better off than going thru THIS.

Try to hang in there

Re: So sad and frustrated

My advice would be to look aggressively for another job and don't quit. The economy is still really bad and it's tough to find work. If you quit, you don't get unemployment. If they let you go, you receive unemployment insurance for 6 months.

Only quit if it is reeeeaaaalllly horrible. My guess is that you are going above and beyond what you were hired to do. Scale back and JUST do the minimum your job requires and take the rest of the time to find new work. Easier said than done, but try to stick it out til after the wedding and then reevaluate the situation...

Re: So sad and frustrated

BoogieDown

Have you looked for another job?

I totally would.

I believe that stress leads to so many other physical and mental complications and you don't want nor need that before your wedding.

I would tell him to KISS YOUR *** and walk out of there.

CMSV might be able to help with looking for a job...have you called them? I don't know who you'd talk to....maybe one of your old profs?

Feel better
