so before being engaged, i wanted 5 girls in my bridal party, 2 sisters, one very close cousin and two friends.. fh only wanted two on his side so i had to take off the cousin and two friends so now i only have my sisters... and his side is his brother and sister... now im upset because we're spending so much on photography, and i feel like there's going to be so few pictures to take since i have such a stupid bridal party set up... im going to be missing all those nice couple pictures that i really wanted.. but fh will not give in and we keep fighting about it.. i dont want to fight anymore so im just giving in.. but i dont want to feel regret!
does anyone else have a small or 'strange' bridal party? were you happy with it and what kinds of pictures did you take (please post if possible)...

Mine is TOTALLY uneven! 7 girls and 3 guys! What can ya do? I'm so sorry that your FH is being difficult.
I'm sending you some because I know what it's like to be arguing with the man you love about crap like this. SO ANNOYING!!!
I hope he comes around and sees your side of things. I would be so sad if I had to make things even. It would just destroy the whole point of a Bridal Party for me.

I have 3 bm's, 2 gm, and 2 flower girls. My pictures will be off too, don't worry about it. It is supposed to be those who are closest to you, you shouldn't just add people to add people...your pics will be beautiful!!

there is NOTHING wrong with uneven bridal party pictures. I have 8 and FH has 9...i know its not TO uneven, but i was in a wedding where there were 6 girls and 3 boys. there really is no standard when it comes to your BP. Do WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!!! i say have 5......

My side is my 2 brothers and my one bro's wife (MOH)...FH's side will be his BF, cousin & a friend (who is a girl)...i could care less that it's not typical...these are people that are important to us...if he wants to add a few more than great...I would have whoever you want, even if it means being uneven...or not having boy/girl, etc....

The last 2 weddings I went to was uneven. Mine is uneven. I have 10 guys and 6 girls. My FH is from a big family. Its just the way it works out. Photographers will work with pictures so it does not look bad. Mine showed me books of brides that had uneven bridal party's and that helped me feel better.

I have a strange one!!
I have 9 GM and 7 BM (including the BM and MOH) FH went ahead with the guys,still at him for it. I had originally 8 BM but one had to step back. I'm a little worried about the pics too, but I talked to my photographer and told him the situation and he said not to worry about it that it wouldn't look funny.
