WOW! you have a great hubby! I hopes B lets D take John's day. Can I guess what B stands for?? LOL

ps Anna, tell your hubby to tell D to speak to HR. They should make arrangements for her. Most HR depts will do that, if they are good at what they do! Maybe even apply to FMLA. (Family Medical Leave Act).

Thanks ladies, for the positive thoughts and words!

John and D have the same Director, although (thank Goodness) John doesnt report to a Supervisor, just to their Director.

So Im pretty sure their Director will allow it.

Offering the comp day is a beautiful and giving gesture. I know when my Uncle's brother had cancer each person in his post office (where he worked) gave up a vacation day so he could be paid for his treatment days and while in the hospital for so long. I always thought that was really wonderful.
