So scary!

So scary!

On my way home tonite there was a REALLY horrible accident right in front of us. We were at a red light and a car hit into the back of a van and the van went FLYING right into the Stop Light pole so hard that the stop light fell. From my angle I could see that the passenger side was smashed into the back of the van..I am praying like crazy that noone was on that passenger side. Its the worse accident I've ever seen and it happened literally 5 feet from us. My entire body went numb, I couldn't even pick up the phone for a few seconds,when I could I called 911 immediatly, they redirected traffic and we were still so shocked that we ended up getting lost on the way home! Everyone please pray for everyone involved in this horrible accident, it just keeps replaying in my head and I really hope everyone is ok. Is there anyway I could find out what happened?

omg thats so scary-i hope everyone involved is ok. Maybe you could call the precint closest to the accident?

That is so awful....I hate that feeling I always get very nervous when I see things like that.

Wow that's so scary... that happened to me and FH a few weeks ago as we were standing in the middle of the street waiting to cross!!

Sometimes they post pics of accidents on Newsday...

I know how you feel. I saw an accident on 347 and nicholls a couple months back.. It was sick!!! and they pulled a little girl out of an overturned vehicle... I was so freaked out I could barely drive home and I couldnt drive after that! Accidents happen but you just have to remember to be a defensive driver I know it sounds stupid but...
