So SICK of people and their comments... Vent with me....

My cousins wedding was this weekend, and it was in Northern NJ (real North), so we decided to stay the night. When my mom told my uncle we were staying... he said, 'Where'd they find the money to stay? Did they use the engagement party money?' W T F is it anyones business where I got the money to stay.

And I just received another 'Who gets married on a Thursday' comment.

I am sooooo sick of people. I want to crawl in a hole and be left alone.

Now I know why people go on their honeymoons, to get away from other people and their annoying comments. Cause I am just about to tell everyone off.

EXACTLY! If you had a problem with giving my money for my eparty, then you shouldn't have came!!! I just don't get people.

People are just ridiculously rude. For Example, my extremely 'frugal' aunt who, btw, is not hard up, decides to stay at a hotel where I don't have a block of hotel rooms.

The place she is staying at is a dump. I've heard several people who have stayed there tell me it's a dump. Tripadvisor reviews say it is a dump.
This aunt proceeds to try and get members of my family to cancel their reservations at my blocked off hotel to stay with her at the dump. They refused.

She had the nerve to come up to me at my cousin's bday and ask if they shuttle can pick them up at their hotel..... I said 'no' she goes 'why?' I said, 'I already have a shuttle going to TWO hotels, I am not going to add on a third stop just for you. It will cost more $$$'
She goes 'so what? Why can't it pick me up?'

Seriously, I think it's nice that we're providing shuttles. For her to go and tell me to have the shuttle go out of it's way just to pick her up is just plain rude. She didn't even seem to care that it would cost me more $$$.

People say and do the strangest thing around weddings. It's bizarre

im unsure why everyone feels that since they have the invite to the wedding that their opinion is actually wanted or needed... somehow when 'wedding' comes up as a topic that line of thought from brain to mouth is lost... i would just brush it off and ignore it as ignorance...

SOme people feel it is acceptable to inquire about others financials - I was brought up never to ask such questions.
Enjoy your thursday night wedding !!! There was a thread on here not too long ago about Thurs. weddings and everyone said they had fun at the ones they attended .

Thanks girls. This is just the tip of the iceberg. People complain about everything! I'm just so sick of it. I try to ignore it... but sometimes it just gets to me.

Actually the person who emailed that to me just got married in the Bahamas, so I replied...

the same people who get married on foreign islands.

Ohh I am so sorry! I hate those comments too. Mine is a Saturday 'day' wedding and I have heard a few moans and groans from people complaining that they have to get up 'early'. God forbid! And there are plenty more where that came from! The biggest complaint I have heard from people is 'why am I wearing my hair straight on the wedding day...its not me' People cannot get over this and its friggen annoying me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
