So I worked in the ER this Thanksgiving from 7a-7p...which wasnt that bad. The day was super light and then i got to go to my moms after and eat...
BUT..I just found out that I'm working Xmas day, which is also my birthday.....and the worst part...ITS A 24HOUR SHIFT! So i won't even get to spend ANY of it with my family. I'm so depressed.

PLUS, I'm working a 24 hour shift on Jan 1, so new years is out too.
I hate being an intern.

i feel your pain...I'm a PA...I worked thanksgiving, Ive worked it every year for the past 4 years...this year I begged to come in late and they let me

Ill prob be working new years...I had to kick and stomp to get christmas off, but i normally work that one too

sucks working in the ER!
