SO SO SO MAD

So, for my batchlorette party I decided to go to fire island.
At the end of August 4 months away. My MOH booked it on her CC and had to pay a deposit of $900. Before I booked it 2 of the girls said that they could go one night. The other one is in my bridal party. Now all three of them said they cannot afford it. Its 210 for 2 nights. 105 for 1 night. Its 4 months away. FOR $1.57 A DAY YOU CAN COME TO MY BATCHLORETTE PARTY!
That really isn't what is making me mad. Its the fact that they want to take me out on there own. I think that is really rude. I mean am I being a bridezilla?

That's seriously annoying ... Did they agree at the beginning when MOH put the deposit?? It sort of seems like if they did they HAVE to go cause otherwise she would lose her deposit???

That is so reasonable for fire Island !! They said yes and the deposit has been made - they should be held financially responsible for their share.

I have enough people prob to still go. But, its just the point.
I would do it for them and just put it on my cc and eat it up. I mean you cant save $200 in 4 months??? Besides, the girl who is in the BP I asked her if she couldnt afford to be in it that it was ok.
She is going on a 3 week vaction! UGHHHH

people have different priorities, mainly being for themselves 1st and everyone else second
sorry they are so selfish, and you are not being a bridezilla!!!!!
you deserve to go and have a good time doing whatever you want to do!!!!
ps that is a great rate for fire island!!!!!

I would totally be honest with her! don't bottle it in or it will just all explode later - and / or you will resent her .

I'd say that you'd love to go out with them ...but you were really hoping that she could make it to FI.

No youre not being a bridezilla. Theyre trying to do what conveniences them and not you and thats effed up. You should break it down to them and tell them its 1.57 a day to save up for that. Sorry theyre doing this to. Its not right.

I understand your frustration.

My MOH called me and told me that she would not be able to attend my bachelorette party because of $$. She also proceeded to tell me that she would not be able to contribute 'that much' to my bridal shower and she hopes my family isn't upset.

WOW that is totally rude! I would be so angry!

Are you willing to pay some of your own money toward it??? I would if I were you but that is just me. For my bachelorette party I wanted a table and it was costly so I kicked in a few hundred dollars.
