So, for my batchlorette party I decided to go to fire island.
At the end of August 4 months away. My MOH booked it on her CC and had to pay a deposit of $900. Before I booked it 2 of the girls said that they could go one night. The other one is in my bridal party. Now all three of them said they cannot afford it. Its 210 for 2 nights. 105 for 1 night. Its 4 months away. FOR $1.57 A DAY YOU CAN COME TO MY BATCHLORETTE PARTY!
That really isn't what is making me mad. Its the fact that they want to take me out on there own. I think that is really rude. I mean am I being a bridezilla?

Since the deposit was already left, I think its really wrong of these girls to back out now.

I had planned to go to a friend's bachelorette party a few years ago, which involved getting a room at a hotel in the city. I got really sick at the last minute, and couldn't go.

I sent a check to the MOH for the amount I had agreed to pay.

I dont get it - if they take you out on their own - wouldnt they wind up spending the same amount of $$$

I don't know. I guess when they put it all together they realize they put themselves in something they can't handle.

I've been a little peeved about it. I haven't really spoken to my MOH since she told me!
