So there is this guys...

ok so there is this guy at work. ovder, mairred, kids the whole nine. Doesnt seem to be too happily married- but that's not my businsess.
What does concern me is that he thinks he's in love with me. Not really in a abad way-- just more in a flattering way. like he thinkgs that I have a great personality, i'm pretty ect.

He knows full well that NOTHING well ever happen- and he's completely accepted that/ And now we're friends- we have to be becuase we work so closely together.

But even though i know that he'd never try anything and I DO consider him a friend-- i know that FH would not aprrove of the friendship. It doesnt feel wrong- but when i hide it from FH (becuase he doesnt want to hear about him) then i feel like i AM hiding something!!!

Anyone else ever have something like this at work?

Yeah I agree-- I mean, I have to work with him so idont want it to be weird--- so I dela with it- and I'd rather be friendly than bitchy.

I tell FH everything so that I know that I'm not hiding anything- but he says he doesnt want me to tell him anythign anymore- that he doesnt want to hear the guy's name. What do you think?

not so much at work but i have a friend who i have been friends with for almost 11 years.....we dated on and off for a year and i have never told FH we dated because he would not approve of the friendship......honestly i feel its better that way or else FH would be mad everytime we talk or hang out. There are no feelings there but friendship.

It all depends on your FH if you really feel he will be upset i say no need to mention it. its not like u guys hang out outside work or anything........
