that one of my friends who i worked with for only 6 months down in disney before she moved back to WI to finish school, just called to say she is comming to the wedding. Mind you i asked her last week because we were under and i am trying to fill seats. Turns out she doesnt get out of work till 4pm on friday and is driving all night to come to the wedding from WISCONSIN!
FH's family lives 6-8 hrs away and wont come....even his grandparents.....

It is so true that many of the people you don't expect anything from will surprise you (in a good way) with their kindness & generosity. And then the people you think will definitely without a doubt be there for you are the ones who end up not even coming or sending you a card.

Thats really sad about his fmily but awesome of your friend to do that for you

YAY for your friend!! I know exactly what you mean, I had a few things like that happen. As HARD as it is, try to blow off his fam and not let it get to you. They s*u*c*k.

Did you manage to make your quota? I am worried about that to... We're at 80 now and we signed for 100... it is really nerve racking.

As a former WI resident I say...hooray for your friend! We will both have WI friends at our weddings that day! (should really be a beer :)) Sorry about your FH relations....that just is a bummer...I feel your pain!

I agree...FH and I have weathered so much disappointment throughout this process...
