So timing wise...

So let's say you're planning a HM for the 7th-13th, and assuming PERFECT 28 days, auntie is scheduled to visit on the 11th. The 7th is pretty much just a travel day, and the only full days of vaca are the 8th-12th, with the 13th being just morning and early afternoon before travelling at night. You're not on BC, so fudging it isn't an option.

Do you hedge your bets and book it anyways, or do you wait and do it end of the month instead, even though sale price would only apply for first 4 days of vacation because travel dates must be in 2009?

I wouldn't plan anything around 'auntie'....with nerves and stress she's bound to get thrown off anyway.

Book it anyways. Maybe you will be a day late??

I don't have a very normal schedule so I would never go by my personal schedule. I would just do whatever i wanted whenever I wanted and if that happens... ehh it happens. Sh*t happens! You know? HAHA! But it only lasts like 4 days or so for me... so it's not sooo awful. There's a good chance I could have it on my HM too... but it's soo unpredictable that I can't even try to figure it out. So I just do what works best without that being a factor.

I know fudging your date with BC isn't an option, but have you ever heard of the instead cup?

It's pretty amazing - I've used it and actually prefer it to pads or tampons now.

That thing looks scary haha. I don't know if I could do that, for purely psychological reasons. Unfortunately, I'm rarely late, if anything I'm a few days early, so chances are I could have it the whole week we're planning, and then FH really WILL be furious about this whole ordeal.

That was my first reaction too. But it's actually easier to use than a tampon. You do have to be a more than little comfortable with your body though.

not to get graphic, but that doesn't even stop FH.... just slap a condom on.....

then again I know it's a different situation for you and not exactly ideal!!

but I'd book it anyway. You would have a few days, maybe?
