So upset.

I am so upset right now I just got home from work, and friday will be my last day.

I absolutly LOVE my job, and the people that I work with but with the economy is still pretty bad and the company isn't doing the greatest because wedding planning is a luxuary not a necessity. So we lost the lease on our building due to a MASSIVE rent increase by the land lord and 4 of the 6 people in my office got layed off. Only the owner and her sister are staying.

I do understand and I had a slight feeling that this was coming because business has been slow.

The only thing that is making me feel a twinge better is that it was definatly last hired, first fired and she only kept one family member. My boss also told me that as soon as she can she would hire me back in an instant, but who knows if and when that will be,

I am really upset :( I guess I will be a board poster more often now that I don't have a job....

So sorry! You are a wedding planner? Maybe you can look into doing your own thing. There are so many girls on here who could use help I'm thinking it's definitely worth a thought if you love what you do!

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Fortunatly It will not affect the planning of my opwn wedding, however I will be posting on the boards ALOT since I am goingot have all this free time and y'all are gonna get sick of me real fast.
