so upset...

so FH and I went to sunrise mall yesterday so I could stop at fredericks and buy a bra so I can start my fittings and maybe find shoes.

Yea... THREE hours in the mall... and all I managed to get was a coffee stain on my shirt and I got a sales woman in trouble.

First stop- Fredericks... I asked if they had any white or nude strapless, longline push up bras.. the girl looked at me like I went up to her and had seven heads... she's like... um, whats that for? I said my wedding...
she then showed me this: (in RED)



I told her I need something without lace... she then said.. 'did you try a department store? or VS?'

so I go to VS, I ask the same question to a girl who was OBV new, she went to ask her supervisor, who I guess didn't see us standing there and started yelling at the girl for leaving the floor and bothering her while she was with customers.. the poor girl almost cried and was like 'this lady was looking for a long bra?' I told her what I needed and the girl looked at me and said 'nope, dont sell 'em'... yea, she's lucky she was helping an older woman, cause I woulda made her cry.

so I go to JC Penny, sears and finally macy's.. macy's has a bra in my size, but its in black and its not a push up. I want a push up.... so no bra for me.

we also went to like every store in the mall that sells shoes... yea, couldn't find ANY that I liked.

but I did find a necklace I want SO BAD in macy's... just its out of my budget... I'm hoping FH will surprise me.. but he didn't like one of the stones on it. I wish I could post a picture, but I can't find it online....
and yea, I ended up getting a woman there in a lot of trouble.


soooo.. I really want to start my fittings SOON... but i can't find anything I need, and I hate ordering online because I don't know if I'll like it in person.

oh and went to DB to fix the mix-up with my BM dresses... tried on their largest crinoline skirt... its not poofy enough for me.

just had to get that all out... I know you girls understand, my friends don't get why I'm so bitchy over this.

there is a place in or near Massapequa that sells them...I think it's called Georgette's. I will look it up and let you know.

My bridal salon also sells longline bras. You should ask them (probably will be more money though). Bridal Reflections is my salon.

I'm going to try the outlets in deer park--- which is where I should have gone to begin with, they have a maidenform store there... I wish I would have used my head.


my main concern is shoes... I just can't find any I like.

and then there's the crinoline... I don't want to spend $100 on a skirt I'll use ONCE! and ebay makes me nervous, because they all seem to be too tall for me.

i had a horrible time finding a bra too so i know how you feel

db has longline push ups did you try there? i dunno if you can only order them online or what but they have them on the website...

go to georgettes in hicksville. the outlets are hit and miss, although you could call before you showed up.

I literally live about 5 minutes away from the outlets, and I'm there at least once a week.. so if they don't have it there I can either order it or try somewhere else. I'm just kicking myself for not thinking of them sooner.
