So it was supposed to be a great day and it kind of ended crappy I went to try on my dress with future mother-in-law and one of my BM so I can put a deposit on my dress. Well the day was great and I'm still absolutely in love with my dress. I bought my veil that I purchased for a steal. I get home and start examining the veil and it has a pretty decent tear :( I think it got caught on those stupid clips that hold the dress together. I don't know if it will be noticeable and I can get away with it. I really don't want to waste money on another veil. Is there a way to hide it or try to prevent it from ripping more?

If its from Priscilla Of Boston I guess theres nothing you can do... I know it sounds crazy but maybe just a pin size of fabric glue at certain spots on the tear to make the veil look like its folded upon itself? The entire tear doesnt have to be attached does it? Is it in an area that would fold upon itself?
I don't know... Does fabric glue even work on tulle? maybe crazy glue?
Good luck!

Re: So upset
I spoke to my cleaners lady in the neighborhood and showed her a picture of the tear. She seems to think it can be sewed so it wont be noticeable unless you spread the fabric out which won't happen since it has creases. I guess its worth a shot. Wish my luck!!!

I have a veil if you'd like to purchase a new one. Not sure if that's what you want to do.
I bought my two-tier fingertip with some swavorskis throughout for about $80.

I sew so I would sew it. I would not glue it - at least if you use a thin thread and try just a few stitches it can be hidden. If you glue it and it doesn't work or gets discolored it might become beyond repair. I'm sure a seamstress can do it, even at your dry cleaners.
