Were you out with them when they asked the other people? Maybe they were just waiting to ask you until they saw you. My FH's friend who is in our wedding asked some of FH's friends already but not him. But that is because my FH is OOT and he hasn't seen him yet. Maybe it's the same thing?

I don't know BUT I told my FI and my mother IF I am not in this wedding I am telling them they are no longer in mine....I am so totally hurt and have so upset the whole day!

i have a situation similiar to this happening right now - its family - but fortunately for me not my brother. i will agree it hurts and totally feels like a slap in the face - but you know you can sleep @ night knowing you did the right thing by having your family in your BP. one day your bro will turn around and regret it - you'll see.

try to feel better and take satisfaction that everyones lips will be wagging as to why you are not up there in the BP.....

I would talk to your brother and express your feelings he may have been trying to save you some money and stress of being in a wedding. Definatley talk to him about it and don't do anything rash - you may regret it.

i would definitely feel the same way you do if i was in the same situation. i guess you just have to find out for sure before jumping to conclusions...
maybe they just thought you guys would definitely be in their wedding so they do not have to ask you formally?

Yes, and maybe he is leaving it to his FI to formally ask you to be a part of HER BP, and she is planning on doing 'will you be my BM' cards or something a little more special and formal than just asking.

Well I just called my brother and got so upset and said 'well I know you asked Billy (our other brother) to be your best man' and I said well does this mean that I am not in the wedding party...so he says 'what are you kidding me' so I am thinking he was going to say 'well of course you are in it' BUT instead is like stumbling on his words telling me to call his FI and ask her myself! He is like um well we haven't discussed it yet....so I have a feeling he didn't know what to say since they weren't planning on having me in it!

So my closing words were...Well guess what if I am not in your than I am asking you and her not to be in mine!

I am not in my brothers but he is in mine. I can understand your hurt if they are having a big wedding. They are having two people so I am not hurt. Sorry!!! I hope it works out for you!
