So Upset Re: Airline Tickets for our Honeymoon! <note to all brides>

Does anyone know what I can do about this???

I booked tickets for our honeymoon WAY in advance - like 3 month ago.

Now when I check the price of the tickets -- they have DROPPED from $650 per TICKET to $268 per TICKET!!!!!!!!!!

I booked them through American Airlines. Do they make adjustments??? I am soooo about this!!!!

And I don't want a CREDIT either!!!!

EDITED TO ADD: Everyone should check their flights on a regular basis!!! American credited my credit card for the price difference!!!!

That means more spending $$$ for the Honeymoon!!!

Did you go through a travel agent? Mine told me that they keep track of that and if it goes down (which I'm sure mine won't) they refund it to us.

You should call and try to get credit. I know that Jet Blue gives credit.

straight from there website

Q: What if my fare is reduced in the future before I leave - can I get the difference in fares refunded?

A: This answer is dependent on the type of fare purchased as each fare has its own fare rules. If you purchased your ticket on or after November 4, 2004, you will pay any applicable change fee on the fare you purchased before the difference in fare is refunded in the form of a travel voucher. If the refund amount is less than the change fee, no refund would apply. You may call American Airlines Reservations at 1-800-433-7300 to have an agent evaluate your ticket.
