U kno tess, I think it's so funny how when it comes to your wedding you are relentless in looking for a response. Yet the number of times years ago myself and others tried to call you get together with you etc you never even returned phone calls. I don't know oif I'm going to your wedding because you haven't been much of a friend a true friend for years now and I'm pissed that unless it's about you,you don't care to keep in touch at all.
it's just very hurtful and shocking to get a response like that because it's untrue..this girl forgets the time she needed someone when she was having bf problems and I was there for her...I'm the kind of friend that if you need me, I'll always be there and to get a response like this is just a slap in the face...it makes me feel so bad because here I am being nice inviting this girl bc she was a part of my life and this is what I get

honestly even if that was the case why is she waiting around for your wedding invite to confront you about it??! umm if she was a true friend she'd let you know how she feels then and there not wait around years later

I am so with your mom on this one. I would have said fu*k you and consider yourself uninvited. Never speak to her again, Even if she did feel that way there is a time, place and a way to express your feelings and this was not it. She is totally classless

yeah, i would try to not let it bother you.
you would know obviously better than all of us -- but if there is some truth to what she wrote ... i.e. you guys drifting apart, not necessarily you only communicating when its about you -- then it should be less of a deal, you know what i mean?
this stuff happens. i went through something similar myself. my best friend from college who i constantly felt like i was making drastic amounts of effort to maintain the friendship finally came forward and said what we were both thinking - that we weren't really 'friends' anymore. just people who 'used to be' friends ... but she spun it all nasty-like in a very uncessary way.
if i were you, i'd briefly visualize beating the sh*t out of this person and then put her on the 'NO' list and then try to forget about her in the now... file away your good memories of her for a later date.
life happens and people drift. looks like you two have done just that. but sorry she was a c*ntface about it.

i responded like this thought i was being nice by sending you an invite because you were a part of my life, but i guess that goes unappreciated
then i thought about it and after reading your responses i also said this One more thing...if you wanted to tell me how you felt you should have found a better way of saying it..don't come at me and attack me, I don't deserve that...don't try to speak for others either...because these others are coming to my wedding and they understand that people get busy in life but get togther for important events...i guess i wasted an invitation on you, so do me a favor just throw my invitation out and forget i even sent you one
