We closed yesterday and then had FH's family over for pizza. We cleaned out the cabinets and started prepping to spackle today. My job is to take off all the cabinet doors and sand them so that we can paint them.
Unfortunately, I have to leave to go back to Staten Island in the afternoon. I have a 30th birthday party tonight and a baby shower and a christening tomorrow. All great events but not good timing. Oh well.
Since I work in Staten Island, I'll be back at the house next week. FH is on vacation this week so I can't wait to see what he gets done!

congrats new home owners? where did u buy a house? what town? were new home owners too we bought our house 7 months ago but we didn't move in until sep. so we have lived in our new home for 5 months. it's so exciting.
We bought in Nesconset.

Thanks girls! We are so excited. Today I have a baby shower and a christening and FH is confused about what to do at the house alone. I feel terrible I can't be there.
