We closed yesterday and then had FH's family over for pizza. We cleaned out the cabinets and started prepping to spackle today. My job is to take off all the cabinet doors and sand them so that we can paint them.
Unfortunately, I have to leave to go back to Staten Island in the afternoon. I have a 30th birthday party tonight and a baby shower and a christening tomorrow. All great events but not good timing. Oh well.
Since I work in Staten Island, I'll be back at the house next week. FH is on vacation this week so I can't wait to see what he gets done!

Re: So, we are homeowners!
Thanks ladies. I was there all day. My job was to sand down the cabinets. It took forever! I took off the doors and took off all the hardware too! I learned how to use some new tools too
