I think the gazebo or in front of Danfords is a nice idea. Also is it possible that they can give you a small urn with some to keep for yourself? DH received this with his grandmothers ashes as did all the grandkids.

Did Hershey have a favorite spot in the house or the yard?
At my DHs practice, the hospital cat loved hanging out in this one closet, so when he passed away, they put his urn in that closet, where he loved to sleep.

I like the idea of sprinkling the ashes at Danfords.

Why don't you scatter them from the pier in front of Danfords?

I was thinking about maybe the gazebo in Northport where our ceremony was ...

Thank you everyone for all the hugs, they really are appreciated

I guess we are in no *rush* but I feel a little guilty with them sitting in the tin in a gift bag from the mortuary (and maybe guilty is even the wrong word ...)

Thanks again everyone!

I like that Northport idea, too.
