I've never had Chicago pizza and I've always wondered if it's as good as I've heard...
But I learned in college that central Pennsylvania's lacking decent pizza.

Chicago pizza is great. It's different though...deep dish is a specialty.

I'll have to go John's on Bleecker in Manhattan. Chicago = TOO MUCH DAMN DOUGH!!! Give me a thin, crispy, coal-oven pie with the freshest mozzarella and san marzano tomato sauce!

There's also John's on 36th. Wonder if it's the same owners.

There are a few of them but the Bleecker is the original...I don't think the others compare, personally!!!

The best pizza I ever had was somewhere on the lower east side on 2nd Avenue, I think. But I don't remember the name or location b/c it was delivered to me.

I have to say I had a very hard time finding decent pizza in Great Neck except for ONE place- Ginos. Everything else is cardboard there.

I have to 2nd Johns on Bleeker... It was years and years ago I was there, but it left that much of an impression!

Mmmm.....i LOVE Totono's!! Might have to go visit the IL's soon to have some (they live very close)
Also love L&B's squares-but that is a different taste all together from Totono's-depends on what I;m in the mood for.
