So we visited...

So we visited...

Fox Hollow, the Watermill and The North Ritz. I wanted to briefly review them all for you ladies still looking!

Fox Hollow: We LOVE FH. We are probably going to book. We are just going to have to decide when. We got quotes for Nov '10-Feb '11. VERY reasonable and SOOo much food! Not to mention it's beautiful and they have the hotel right there. A lot for your money.

The Watermill: I liked the Watermill because it's very pretty and their rooms look really nice when they are set up. They also seemed very reasonable. We met with Bob and he seemed to really want to work with us. Unfortunately we were in a major rush so we didn't get to talk too much about what's included in the prices but I feel like we could get him to go down even more on what he quoted us, which was VERY reasonable. Good menu selection but you don't get AS much as at Fox Hollow.

North Ritz: IMHO this wasn't for us... I know a few people who got married there and LOVED it, but I just didn't like how it was set up as much as other places. Plus their prices were MORE than Fox Hollow and Watermill! Which I thought was so crazy. It must be because you are the only bride at a time. I do have to say that she was willing to give us a full Viennese Hour and Sushi platters, so I do have to say they are very flexible.

Anyway I hope this helps you guys, it helped me to just write them down. We don't know what to as far as booking, we want to do Feb '11 but are still thinking of maybe waiting another year... WHO KNOWS!! ahh so annoying..

Anyway FM if you want quotes (mostly Dec-Feb)

I like reading posts like this....sometimes I get nervous thinking that I should have look at more RHs instead of just 1. but I'm glad I picked Fox Hollow :)

I think that are definitely going to book FH. We really just felt comfortable there, and I forgot to add that even when we went to visit both times, they were so hospitable. They were the only place that gave us drinks while we waited, etc.

Our real dilemma now is trying to decide WHEN to get married. I am having a huge issue over this. I don't know if we should go ahead and book for 2011 or wait until 2012. HE said it will be $5 more a person if we book in advance.
