So what are you going to do with your life after the wedding?

So what are you going to do with your life after the wedding?

I woke up in a panic the other day wondering what the hell I am gonna do with my free time once all this planning is over. I am so obsessed with planning this wedding, I think I might have post-wedding depression. I think I need a hobby...any suggestions?

yes, i worry about that b/c i do have a lot of fun planning. but i try to look at the other side of the coin: i'll have the BEST memories, pics, stories and to top it off: i won't have to be so strict with money-- it'll be a break for me and then my FH and I can travel and decorate our place-- focus on the future, plan having kids!! but i'm excited to have some free money available, treat myself to a nicer car, see europe, etc.

so i try to focus on that!! but it will be sad and very weird at first i think

I have big plans.. since i will no longer be broke due to saving for a wedding.

-Go To Grad School
-Travel - Mexico, St Lucia (some thoughts)
-Save for a house or co-op or mvoe the hell out of NYC so I can afford a house or a co-op
-Go shopping with out worry

oh yeah and live happily ever after with DH until he does something to drive me crazy, than we argue and than make up and love each other and do this process over and over again. Than at one point we might throw in a few kids.

ahhhh the good life - I cant wait.

i'll be done with school two months before the wedding, so i'm going to have lots of free time. Maybe I can pick up cross-stitching again, or crotchet. And there's a few computer games that have been lacking my attention.

Yeah, I was obsessing over the idea of no longer having a wedding to plan. As of right now, I am not totally out of the woods because I am the Matron of Honor at my Bil's wedding so since his fiance and I are best friends, I am helping her as much as possible. Thanksfully her wedding is in exactly one month from tomorrow! After that, I am going to concentrate on decorating our Condo. We haven't had much time to do so since we only moved in on April 1st and had so much going on with the wedding.

LOL yes shopping without the guilt trip!!! without hiding the receipts and bags from FH!!!
YAY!! those days are on the horizon and there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

Actually, I'm starting to look forward to life after the wedding. We plan on trying to have kids right away so there is that. Plus I went back to school and am only 1/2 way done so there is that to focus on. We also have a lot of things we are planning to do with our house.

So all that plus just being Mrs. H and hanging out with my husband.

i will be getting back to normal life, I cant wait!!!

during 90% of the wedding planning, FH was not in the country, so I am really looking forward to after the wedding and spending time with him. a month after the wedding, I am moving to Sydney and FH and I will need to find an apartment to live as we will be living with his parents for a little bit. after we get settled then i need to find a job. sometime after i get settled in my job, about one year or so, I am going to start looking into PhD programs.

I am going to be pretty busy after the wedding!

As sad as you may be after the wedding because it's over and you may feel there is nothing to look forward to but believe it or not you will actually enjoy your free time and will definitely have plenty going on to keep you busy, I promise

I think I will miss planning, but I will have plenty to do with work and we just bought a new house that we have not been able to enjoy because of al the planning.

Well, for me, the wedding and my school go hand in hand - wedding is this month, school is over next month - I am going to go back to researching for work, reading more for fun, and going back to my daily workouts - something I missed more than anything!

also, going to go back to dancing again - at least for fun this time, no more competitions for me!!!

ETA: I sure as HELL will NOT miss planning one bit... at ALL!

I really don't have much wedding planning. I think I can't wait to be finished with school this coming December.

Then, that will be weird not going to school 3 nights a week. I am not sure what I am going to do with all that time.
