My friends think I'm nuts; my wedding is a year and a half away and I'm actively looking for vendors. What have you booked so far?
We've got: The CH (for ceremony and reception) Engagement party (booked, invitations sent. favors ordered) STD's
Hunting for A band A Photographer
'Hunting season' will hopefully be over by Christmas. (Got to beat outall the couples that get engaged over the holidays!! )
What about you? Am I nuts?

Ceremony-church reception site E-party and e-party invites. For the favors I went to the bakery to ask about cupcakes and they said to place the order the week I want them. And I have a few sites for miniature bottles of wine and champagne, gotta go over them with FI to see which he likes.
I had an appointment yesterday with a dj but I had to reschedule it for next week because I had to stay late at work.
Photographer appt coming up.
I am also currently looking at STD's, I wanna send them out when the wedding is a year away.
I am still deciding on florist but I have narrowed down my decision.

Hardly anything!! We booked the reception hall for both the reception and ceremony...
FH put a 'hold' on leaving any more deposits on ANYTHING until after Christmas!! Worried about the Grinch ladies? Don't worry, I have him safe at our house!

We requested our date at the church (so i guess that's done!) and we're in the process of signing the contract for the RH...im going to do more looking after grad school ends this semester cuz i have way too many papers

So far I've booked the reception hall, the church, and the DJ. I had my E-party already during thanksgiving weekend. I am now in the procss of looking for a photographer. I've booked 4 appts for this weekend. The rest is going to have to wait until after new years. My friends think the same thing. We're all recent college graduates but then again none of them are engaged and know how wedding planning can be such a grueling process. You just have to let them know how it really is for you and hopefully they'll understand. Either way do what's best for you

RH hair make up altho I mauy change my mind & go w/ airbrush - then my mom will use my artist
debating band or dj,
and my parents know who they want us to book

oh hair and make up I have and luckily I dont have to book appointments or search for that. My stylist offered up her services and other people at the salon I go to. I am so glad because honestly I don't know if i would be able to trust other people. They're all soooo good and I know I will get amazing results. They also do photoshoots and celebrities alot

I can only say I have the reception hall!!!!
However technically I have my hairdressers booked because they are both friends!!!!
Deciding on the church will start the day after my last final this semester....and then from there DJ and photog

But yeah, my DJ is a friend, the photog wont book until next year, and I have to be in NY to look at florists.
