Please tell me what you like about yours. I'm guessing they're basicly all the same?

Re: So what is a good crock pot to buy?
I picked one with a big bottom, more surface area to cook more evenly. It takes up more room though. I also picked one with multiple settings and a timer (I think). I also got a big one, you can always just make a little, but if you get a little one and need a lot, you SOL!

Re: So what is a good crock pot to buy?
I like that the stoneware is removeable on mine. I have a very basic 'CrockPot' by Rival .. it has a round shape .. it has one dial .. with a high or low setting .. and that's fine for me. I know slow cookers (or crock pots) are meant to cook while the cook is away .. but I have a hang-up about leaving something cooking when no one is home.
I know they come with all sorts of bells & whistles .. but this one was given to me as a gift several years ago .. maybe 5 or 6 .. and I love it .. it's very simple .. and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by not having those other features.
