We are not exchanging gifts this year We decided that we can't afford it, but we are going to spend a day in manhattan, see the tree, go ice skating, have dinner - I guess we don't save money doing that, but we get to make a nice memory

I reay told FH not to spend $$ b/c I have one, and we have a lot of debt, but I know he's already bought me stuff, so I was thinking of getting him this cashmere coat I saw in men's wearhouse. He doens't have a dressy coat

Well this year money is a little tight with the wedding right around the corner. But last year I got him a tv and dvd played for our truck. the year before that a white gold and diamond cross.
We decided after the wedding is over we will go shopping and buy each other a belated xmas/birthday gift.

i have no idea.. we set a 100 limit for each other.. and we need to buy 8 gifts (hanukkah) and at least 3 have to be meaningful. just to make it hard on ourselves.
so far i bought him a simpsons poster cause i have no idea what to get him.

I'm debating between two things:
1. Gold chain (he's the only Italian I know with no jewelry!!) LOL, I tease him about that.
2. Flat screen computer monitor. He's a computer freak.

Well I was going to get him a portable DVD player but he went out and bought one yesterday. I am so pissed. Especially since I told him that was what I was going to buy him.
So now I am probably going to not get him anything. I don't have any odeas and we are going to Vegas in 2 weeks, so money is tight.

He got a big promotion and needed another suit as he will be traveling more and meeting with clients so I got him his suit. Something we would have had to buy anyway. My brother and Dad bought him a really nice shirt and tie to go with it.
No money left for shoes so he'll be barefoot

1. Seinfeld DVD set 2. The Donald Trump book (he loves him!)

OMG! Thanks! I didn't even THINK of Hanukkah! We celebrate both, but I usually igve him his bigger gift(s) on xmas and hanukkah is maybe a DVD, candy, a coupon book, etc.

acs- I always think pajamas are a good gift. They're personal, but not too mushy, and you can cuddle in them together! Or a warm blanket to cuddle under, a picket basket...or a box loaded iwth fixins to have a great intimate hot cocoa nite..or another kind of intimate night

Every year we forgo presents to go a nice vacation. This year we are meeting my parents in Mexico again to relive our engagement weekend from last year. I paid for our airfare and he pays for all our food and activities.

Surprising hm with a deep sea fishing trip on honeymoon.
For x-mas some clothes, an x-box game or 2, a mini remote control airplane and probably a book.
