So What Is Your Progress? Let's Motivate Each Other Ladies!!!
So I figured since MOST of us are on some sort of fitness routine for our big day I'd post this to see where everyone is at, how much further they have to go and how long they have left. I'll start it off: Current Weight: 133.5lbs Goal Weight: 115 - 120lbs (I'd be happy with 120lbs, but 115lbs is an ultimate goal) Months Left Until Wedding: A little over 8 1/2 months I'm working out hard and eating healthy so I'm optimistic. What about the rest of you ladies?
Also, post anything you've found really helpful in your journey!!

I've lost 7lbs so far and have 8-13lbs left with a little over 6 months till the wedding but the way i look at it i really only have 4 till dress fittings bc thats when it counts. I joined Weight Watchers which i find to be really helpful and i started taking spin classes at my gym which is amazing im seeing really quick results!

I'm back on Weight Watchers as of yesterday so now I feel super motivated. Usually that's just the kick I need to really lose weight!

I've been slacking.. I did the 30 day shred here and there. This week i'm back on my game; i started working out twice a day. I do a mile or so on the treadmill in the morning and then the 30 day shred and an ab video at night. I've been eating egg whites for b-fast (no cheese) and a salad for lunch and then chicken or some other protein for dinner and snack on fruit throughout the day. I don't eat past 7:30pm either. I also bought a cleanse but i haven't used it yet, i'm going to try it over the weekend and see how it works. I'm not big on weighing myself so when i can wear all of the jeans that are piled up in the closet again, i'll be happy All this hard work better pay off lol

I'm down a total of 13 lbs since the holidays... at total of 41lbs since FH popped the question. I have been doing the shred daily, sometimes twice in one day...eating about 1k calories, and staying away from grease or anything fatenning. I want to drop about 25 more lbs by the wedding...Oy.

Everyone has been saying that...but honestly, that's what I've been eating for about 3 or 4 years now...with an occional time going over b/c I would eat fast food...YUCK> I'm still over-weight...I'm about 175 now... and I'm about 5'2 ish.. LOL.....EWW! But I eat only healthy things. It sounds like it's not healthy...but that's what my body has been used to for sooo long. Now I'm just careful what I do eat. It's smaller portions and 3 meals, with 2 snacks. Sometimes I usually stick around 1200 for the day....but I'm def. not starving myself. When I eat more like 2k a day, I feel sick and usually get a stomach ache. lol. I had a stomach lining issue about 4 years ago... so that's another reason I'm so used to only eating what I do. Thanks for your concern though...

Re: So What Is Your Progress? Let's Motivate Each Other Ladies!!!
I lost 6 1/2 pounds and I have 3 1/2 more to go. My wedding is 4 months away so I just have to stick with what I've been doing to keep it all off. I've been excerising a little and know I have to do more. As for eating I have been having 3 small meals and 2 to 3 snacks a day. I have been having lean protein and lots of veggies.
I just discovered a great snack!!! Fiber One came out with muffins that you can make. I believe they are 130 calories per muffin and 3 grams of fat, 12 sugars and I don't think the carbs are too bad either and they are yummy! For my other snacks I eat 100 calorie pack pretzels, fruit, greek yogurt - plain.

Re: So What Is Your Progress? Let's Motivate Each Other Ladies!!!
My starting weight when I went on WW was 155. I had lost about 7 pounds before the holidays but then after the holidays I was back up to 157! Now I am down 12 pounds from the holidays (thanks to a nasty flu last week that helped me lose A LOT of weight) to 145. My goal is 135, but I am not sure if I'll ever get down that low (I am 5'10). 140 and toned would probably be a good weight for me, so I guess I am only 5 pounds from my goal. Now, the issue is keeping the weight off once I've lost it!!!

I am 5'1 and started at 120 I'm down to 114.5 and my goal weight is 110. I just really changed my meals. We are around the same height and weight so I will tell you some of the things working for me, maybe they will work for you too.
For breakfast I have fiber one cereal with skim milk, the fiber keeps you full. I have a snack 2-3 hours later, usually a banana or a clementine. For lunch I have either egg whites and turkey on whole wheat, grilled chiocken and veggies, campbells light soup - only 50 to 80 calories per serving or a turkey sandwich on whole wheat with mustard. The bread I have been eating which is really low in calories and taste 100000000 times better than WW bread is Perpperidge Farm light. Then I have a snack a few hours later usually greek yogurt - the plain is huge and only has 100 calories, 7 sugars and 7 carbs or I have pretzels. For dinner I do a lean protein - only 1 piece and veggies with some brown rice. I haven't been drinking alcohol either and sticking with water coffee and tea only no soda or juice.

Sorry! 2010er crashing....just wondering what results you notice from the spin classes, I'm under this impression that only my legs will get worked out and I'm really interested in a total body which is why I stick to running. Please FM me if you have any input, thank you so much!

Re: So What Is Your Progress? Let's Motivate Each Other Ladies!!!
I might be the opposite of some ladies, but perhaps others are in my position -- I am 5-4 and for years have been between 110 and 115 without fail. FH gets annoyed when his weight goes up because he stops working out and eats too much and I do the same but nothing happens to me. However, for the wedding I wanted to actually put on some muscle and a touch of weight because I actually look much better that way, as I was when i was in college and was a varsity athlete. I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week for at least 6 months now, with 30 minutes of cardio and then lots of weights. It is has been very frustrating because I am lifting so much more than I was 6 months ago but I still don't have much muscle definition! I was adamant about doing it without a trainer, because I wanted to see if I could do it. FH says he overheard a trainer tell another girl that some people are just built in a way that they never show much muscle definition and I think I must be one of those girls! But I guess I am still proud, I can lift with my legs 30 more pounds than when I started and can do tricep dips with only 40 pounds of assistance and when I started it was at 68. With my wedding in just 5 days, I think I am about as far as I am going to get!

You can do it. I just started in January so you will def be able to do it as long as you put you mind to it.

I watched the biggest loser last night and one of the problems a guy had was that he was working out like crazy and not dropping weight. The trainer figured out that he wasn't eating enough and so he didn't have enough energy and his metabolism wasn't kicking in enough. they stressed how he needed to eat a very well-balanced diet and how he also needed to eat whole grain bread and stuff, even though it might sound counterintuitive.

Thanks for that... maybe I will just have to kick up eating more then. I keep being told that I'm not eating enough, but geez....if you saw how much I ate in a day you'd be shocked!! lol. I'm still losing weight and working out daily...so I don't know. I tend to eat plenty of furits and veggies...and they aren't full of calories so maybe that's my isse?? I don't know. Thanks for you adice though...

Dani im thinking thats still so little...eating too little will actually slow down weight loss...if you want to talk nutrition id love to talk! Its one of my favorite things to learn about!!
As of now I am 5ft and 101 pounds. i was 120 last april and started working with a trainer and nutritionist. I plateued this summer and beginning oft he year at about 107 pounds but I have started a new plan and am hoping to see more results!
