You set out a vintage typewriter with nice paper and guests type special messages/wishes for the bride and groom.

it is cute if you have the vintage theme, but be careful I went to a wedding where they had this and the type writer broke! and it was congested around there since it takes a while to type lol... cute though

My friend had on all the tables a bunch of hershey kisses in a bag, tied on it read 'a bundle of kisses from the New Mr. & Mrs' I am stealing that idea =)

I stole the slipper basket idea....I loved the way one bride had them wrapped nicely and presented in the ladies bathroom. It was an extra little treat!
I also really loved one girl's personalized aisle runner....had names, date and a quote,'Once in a while, right in the middle of ordinary life--God hands you a fairytale...'
or something like that. HA!

My friend had a framed story of their relationship with pictures illustrating key moments along the way. I've never seen anything like that at a wedding before. She placed it right next to the guest book, so guests could read the story while they're waiting to sign. I'll definitely be copying that. I love the idea that it's something that she can keep for years to come. I asked her where she got it from, it's from a woman named Katie Fischer (Katie Fischer Design) I believe. She said pricing was reasonable as well.
