As we all know too well my fmil is just a psycho, no other way to put it.
Anyway, Fh's parents are divorced. His father remarried about 15 years ago. When they got divorced, his father got custoday of him, therefore his stepmother has played a very important role in raising him.
Here is the drama, FH wants to dance with both his mother and stepmother which I think is a great idea. Well he told his mom and she FLIPPED!!!! Like screaming, leaving nasty messages on all of our phones basically saying how he can't do this bc she is the mom and the stepmom means nothing. She went as far to call relatives and tell them all this. Good thing our relatives know how crazy she is. She has been badmouthing us 24/7 for the past few days. Now she isn't coming to the RD.
Fh really doesn't care since he has dealt with this his whole life. But she has a nack for always ruining stuff for us. O well, I'm over it, just thought I would vent a little.

ya know i honestly don't care too much, i refuse to let her get to me and ruin my day! i just feel bad for fh b/c i think deep down he wants her there since its his mom but then she does crap like this

FH uninvited his mom to the wedding until she gets help... but know that he really wants her to get better so he can have his mom back... its pretty sad...

Oh no! Thats so awful. Is she really not going to go to the RH dinner because of that?
I understand your situation because my mom is completely all drama and constantly wants to guilt me into getting her way. FH was sweet to include both her and his stepmom and it is both your day. Eventually when his mom realizes that he wont cater to her demands she will give up and wont try to bully him.

Her behavior is not going to make him want to change his mind.
I think it's nice of him to want to honor his step mom, since she's probably had a large influence on his life.
So sorry you're dealing with this, esp since your wedding is so soon.
