If so, how much earlier?? I booked for ceremony time @ 1:30....I was thinking 1:00 on invites....People are ALWAYS late, including myself.

I completely did this!!! I know my family and friends too well. I put half an hour earlier. Those that get there early can listen to music while they wait :)

im not... im rarely late for anything...and the people that i want there will be there on time... i would be annoyed if i was a guest and showed up at 7 and sat around for a half hour... besides there are only a handful of people i know that would be late

Ours is immediately following the ceremony which lets out an hour earlier and the RH is only 10 mins away so we figured, no one would stray too far so we're putting the correct time.

I'm putting 30 mins for the ceremony. The CH is tricky, but I am putting 15 mins earlier so they can get there, have the cars parked and check their coats and then head immediately to CH. Hopefully we won't get yelled at by RH for having guests be that early??

I'm not because the last wedding I went to I was there before a half hour earlier so I would be really frustrated if I had to wait even longer. I think it'll be fine with the actual time and if it's not then oh well! lol

I'm thinking about putting a half hour earlier on mine b/c some people just have no sense of punctuality!

I will put 6:00 for a 6:15 ceremony.

My ceremony is at 11 am so I'm definitely putting 10:45 because FH's friends have a habit of being late. All I have to say is, if they're late, we're not waiting for them!!

I'm having my wedding called for 7:00, but will start the ceremoney at either 7:15 or 7:30.

Ceremony is at 12:30. I put 12 on the invites. Our friends are notoriously late, so we wanted them there early.

Plus the hall is doing a coffee, tea and danish thing before the ceremony for those who are early, so they wont be too upset

We are a 2:30 ceremony, I'm thinking about putting 2 or 2:15.

We weren't totally sure what to do at first but put Ceremony begins at 7pm... so they should know to arrive a bit earlier. Hopefully that doesn't backfire
