Ok ...so again for like the 12 time...I am going to look for a dress for my eparty! I hope I find one today! Im almost ready to order the one that I saw online for $400. I didnt want to spend that much...but it will be worth it at this point just to have somthing!
OK sooo I was out alll day long...and NOTHING!!! I shouldnt be surprised at this point- I went to Lord and Taylor in Manhasset (I already went to the one in the city) Macys of Manhasset, and Steinway Street (they had like 4 boutiques there) However there was one store on Bell that seemed promising.. The girl said that she was going to be looking into getting me a dress and was going to call me on Monday...I hope that she coms through! Because otherwise I dont know what else to do...does anyone have any recommendations?????

what kind of dress are you looking for? color, style such as strapless, spaghetti straps, halter and so on. How do you want the bottom, form fitting, mermaid, flowy, or to come tight to the knees and then have flowy material. Beading? or no beading? print or no print?
You know what the problem I think is...I have it in my mind and I havent seen it...or if I have seen it...I dont like the color...I dotn want black, pink, white, or orange, I would like a halter or thicker straps, with beading...preferably an empire waist with beading...I would like satin, but have seen a lot of chiffon, and that looks good on me...I hate that accordian bottom...Oh and I would like it to be cocktail length
ok let me see if i find something like what you're describing. ALSO just in case remember that they can do alterations on a dress for you and change it up a bit if you want that. For example my dress wasn't halter top but bc i was busting out the lady made it a halter top she cut the straps that just went straight to make it like that.

thats the OZ boutique site actually, they carry all those dresses and thats the link you get when you search oz boutique. Most of those dresses ive seen there. But depends when bc they always get new stuff
if you like a dress on shopdress, go to the designers website and look at their color chart

Re: So wish me luck! **Update**
Have you tried Cache or some of the boutiques in the city?
Also, if you can't find a dress you like for under 400, do you have time to have someone make it? There are a lot of seamstresses in Long Island, they may be able to help you out with the perfect dress
