I did not lose enough weight during this year. I kept thinking that I had enough time now the wedding is almost here and I feel like I am going to look like a cow in a wedding dress! I'm so depressed. Sorry guys, I'm really sad.

I think a lot of us go through this, Lord knows I have a horrible self-image of myself some days (ok .. most days .. LOL)
But I don't just 'think' you'll be beautiful in your gown ... I just KNOW you are going to be a beautiful bride!
I didn't lose quite as much weight as I wanted to these past months either, though I did lose a bit (thank Goodness) But let me assure you that once you put on that gown, you will feel like the most gorgeous woman in the world!
Don't fret - your gown is going to be great on you!!

Thanks everyone. My FI told me today that he can't wait to see me walk down the aisle to him. I nearly melted. He put it all in perspective for me. He loves me, imperfections and all and that's all that matters.

I felt the same way. I had my first fitting about 2 weeks ago. I was so depressed all night because I felt like I was 1200lbs. I am so disappointed in myself. I felt even worse when I saw the other 2 brides there who were also being fitted and they were like a size zero. All I can do now is work out constantly and cut back even more on food.

your FI said the sweetest thing...and hes right! You are going to make a beautiful bride! I got married a while ago and felt nervous everytime I had a fitting...At each fitting, they had to 'take in' and I felt great..and I am FAR from even a size 6 The only thing that mattered was my Hubby, family and friends and they ALL loved how I looked that day! Dont stress and enjoy your day!!
