Appraisals are done right before you, takes about 10 minutes or so. I had mine done at Macy's in the city. They give very high appraisals.

FH wouldnt give me my ring unless it was insured LOL he didnt trust me ( I LOSE THINGS ALL THE TIME ) But honstly that is the best thing that you did that..
