So yesterday was our response date...

And we got TWO, count them....TWO of the FORTY FIVE responses missing. I hate people

OMG!!! Maybe people are taking longer to respond since it's 4th of July weekend? Regardless, that is SOO RUDE!!!!!! When are you going to start calling?

We are missing 43 with 6 days to go...I know ours will be bad too (we only got 8 last week!) What the heck? SOOOO sorry to hear that---I don't understand people.UGH!

You'll get responses in today and drips and drabs all next week I received a response on Thrusday - and my RSVP day was May 20 - and the wedding is June 12!!!

it's not rocket science! all they have to do is fill out how many, yes or no and then mail it out. why do people do that?

FH and his BM were in a friends wedding. Well Sean ( FH BM) asked my sister to go with him. And at the rehearsal dinner i made some comment of that to our friends who were getting married the NEXT day. Well, apparently he never RSVP'd and they didnt know he was bringing a date since he was single and THAT NIGHT had to redo the seating to fit my sister ( didnt know all the trouble they went through til afterwards)

He said he assumed since he was in the BP they would know he was going.... MEN!!!

ETA: point of my story...I would CALL and not assume anyone who didnt respond

We are going through the same thing. I was thinking of sending a little card saying

'Since we did not receive your response card we are sorry that you are unable to share our special day with us. We were so looking forward to you attending!'

Can't respond on time....can't come! I can be a rude as they can!

Well, we got 4 today, guess that's good. And two were yeses, so what the hell? Anyway, I went through my list, and 12 of the invitations are JT's relatives from Ireland, so we know they are definitely not coming. That makes it a little easier. But there's quite a few on there that should have been in and I'm all freaked out because what if they never got their invites?

i am going thru the SAME thing!! today was my rsvp date..i only got 4 today and i have 40 response cards out there..about 70 to account for...what is WRONG with people??!!

We have 55 people who have not yet responded...my dad is going to call them...the 2nd was our response date...one lady actually said 'Oh yes, I plan to put it in the mail on Monday'::
