Soap as a favor?
So I saw this idea posted by a fellow bride and I though it was so cute. Any of my guests that know me well know I love soap and am obsessed with washing my hands haha (I'm a teacher...I can't help it)!! Have any of you done soap as a favor? How would you feel if you received that as a favor? Honest opinions please! I found an Etsy vendor who makes homemade bar soap and includes a personalized label...what do you think? TIA

cute! i too am an obsessive hand washer and would love it lol. the male guests may not appreciate it but in reality, the women will notice the favors more than the men anyway.

Soap as a favor?
I was thinking about it but couldn't take the plunge to do it. Instead I'm doing a donation.

Soap as a favor?
I'm not a teacher, but I love the idea of this because its a favor that people will actually use!! I keep trying to decide between favors and donations. The thing that has been keeping me from leaning toward favors is that they're usually things that no one will ever use. Yeah, a wine opener or heart shaped measuring spoon or wine stopper is useful, but not when you get them at 7 different weddings! Thanks for the idea!

Soap as a favor?
I honestly don't like it just because I have terrible allergies and anything scented gives me a horrible headache and brings on all the sneezing runny nose etc. I literally can only use like dial or dove soap. Anyone who has allergies knows what I mean lol. I wouldn't throw it out if I got it I'd probably give it to someone else, but just a thing to think about for your guests

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this! I'm allergic to so many things that I ONLY use what I know won't bother me, so I wouldn't use soap given as a favor.

Soap as a favor?
I am still torn on the soap idea! I love soap and the way it would look on the tables with personalized labels but I am nervous about the thought of allergies/skin sensitivities. It's such a cute look though and a unique favor!!! Ugh SO torn!

Soap as a favor?
I'm not sure I would use it because I am very particular when it comes to soaps and scents...I'm pretty loyal to my white Dove bar lol.

I think the idea is cute.... BUT can you imagine 12 bars of strongly scented soap sitting on the table while you're trying to eat your chicken at the reception!? haha... so if you do soap favors, please consider unscented for that reason alone!

Soap as a favor?
Thank you so much!! So many valid points I didn't even think about. I actually came across an Etsy vendor who makes all natural vegan soaps. Not that I'm necessarily using them, but with all the allergies people to have it's something to consider. I may or may not do the soap. I just have NO CLUE what to do for favors!!

I didn't even think of that. I'd make sure to put them on a favor table for people to take on the way out because that is a very valid point!
