Well, now the bugger might want to go the resort route after all! I swear it's just to be contrary at this point.
I don't even want to anymore, I just want to go here. He said it's worth 'considering', but also we might like a resort if it's a nice one. Well, duh...but no way to know if it's nice until we're there and out thousands of dollars that could have been put towards a Greek Island!

I just watched Platinum Weddings and they had it at the Cheeca Resort and Spa in the keys.... not exactly sure where it was but it looked AMAZING!!! Might be pricey considering it was on Platinum Weddings but probably worth checking out!
I'll def google it, but if it's Platinum worthy, it's totally over our cheapo budget!

Ok so if you go there you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO have dinner on Little Palm Key or Island. You take a boat onto this resort thing... and you eat dinner on the beach. The tables are set up on little planks of wood and there are cute lil baby deers roaming around. The only way to get there is by boat. Yahts and all come there. IT'S REALLY QUITE AN EXPERIENCE. Make a reservation for sunset!
Bill Gates rented the whole place out for New years on year for all his friends. It's really an amazing place! YOU SOOO HAVE TO EAT THERE! I send my friend's father and his GF there and they both LOVED IT!
I say go for the Keys! It's a nice time. Key West is fun. And there are things to do on the other Keys as well.
Now that I peaked at the website for like 2 seconds.... why not stay on this key? It's Little Torch Key I think?? Check out that site. let me know what you think!

OMG, I just looked at the site! OMG!!! it looks AMAZING!!!!
The prices are a bit steep.... but they have package deals too which don't seem as bad.
If you want to go there for dinner I know they offer a boat ride to the island... haha so you don't have to go around finding a yaht to take you there! HAHA!!
NOW I WANT TO GO THERE!!!!

Then again they completely revamped it for a destination wedding.... I see two girls on this thread actually said they stayed there so they can give you more information than I can
