Software for making wedding invitations?

Can anyone recommend any software if you made your own??

I am playing around with a bunch of different ones - MS Word/Publisher, Adobe Pagemaker, Macromedia Freehand/Flash...

What it looks like I am going to do, is buy 8 1/2 by 11 paper, print both invitation and reception card (and response card if it fits) on each sheet. I will then have my mother cut them to the size I want. I need to do it this way because the design I created needs to bleed over the edges (the printer I have only allows borderless printing for certain sizes, and even with that it hardly ever works).

I will experiment with vellum as well, but am predicting that it will be a lost cause...
