So...I was brave last night....
So...last night I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and go out with my best friend. As some of you may remember my yellow-bellied d*ck-head of an ex-boyfriend broke up with me via email monday. So, we started off at a restaurant that she and I both used to work at, where we knew both bartenders, one of which I've had a mild flirtation going on with for 5 years now (he and I have the same birthday but he's a year older)....He's a great guy, but timing has never been right.
Anyway, somewhere amist strawberry margaritas I asked him to my sisters wedding![]()
it went like this:
me: do you like montauk?
him: yes. do you like montauk?
me: yes. would you like to spend a weekend in montauk?
him: with you?
me: they'll be others, and a wedding, all expenses covered, you just need a suit.
him: when?
me: saturday August 13th
him: I have to make sure that I can.

And then we didn't discuss it.....but I did give him my number before I left and told him to think about it and call me.
I swear, even if he doesn't call-it felt so good to be brave!!!!!
